4110 HART® Level Encoder
The 4110 HART Level Encoder (HLE) mounts directly to the 2500 Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) and provides precision encoding of level data and then transmits the data to a HART host device. The 4110 HLE is compatible with various HART masters, including the 4200 Multi-Function Transmitter (MFT), 8130 Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) or third party programmable logic controllers (PLCs) utilized in tank farms, refineries and terminals and is designed to communicate with these devices over a low voltage, intrinsically safe, HART communications bus.

Configuration
The 4110 HLE can be configured by the HART master, such as the 4200 MFT or 1200 Hand Held Terminal (HHT) via the HART bus terminal connections. The 4110 HLE cover may be removed without powering the encoder down when properly installed in an I.S circuit.
