Businesses are evaluating cost effective ways to collect data from remote tanks where traditional tank gauging systems are too expensive. We are able to communicate with field devices and provide host connectivity via TCP/IP (Internet), dial-up telephone line, cellular and GSM, allowing remote maintenance and diagnostics. In order to collect the data from multiple tanks or multiple interfaces, we have developed an OPC server. This software allows the user to configure how and when to connect to the remote gateway, retrieves the specified data and makes it available via an OPC interface to any OPC client software, including FuelsManager®.
